On a frosty December evening many stars shone brightly for the MooreMelodies Christmas Show. 18 acts took to the stage at Moose Hall, a hidden gem with entertainment facilities ideal for amateur performances located in Winton, Bournemouth. Show director, Rebecca Moore, is a popular vocal coach and showcased many of her clients and students from the Hammond Academy of Performing Arts. The evening started with the infants. Singing solos, the confidence made you wonder if the next X-Factor could begin from here. With an electic mix of well known Christmas songs plus an original acoustic tune from singer/songwriter, Adam Dupree. Shows like this are fun and informal. With a selection of passionate individuals with will and determination. The audience were able to join in with the handout of lyrics as the festive spirit was in full swing plus a delicious buffet was also provided for the everyone involved. You could see that Rebecca had worked hard to make it all happen and with the support and guidance from Ms Hammond of the Academy, it was a fabulous evening celebrating the singing talents of the performers and the teaching skills of Ms Rebecca. Many thanks must go to MooreMelodies for an entertaining evening and most of all congratulations Rebecca for giving eager singers a platform to either progress in the industry or simply experience performing in front of an audience.
