I was luckily enough to see Mr Gary Barlow in concert on the 13th November 2012 at the B.I.C in Bournemouth!
Unbelievably the tickets had sold out 45 minutes! I was one lucky gal to be one with a golden ticket...good to have friends who are on top of the game.
The two hour concert went faster than a heart beat, but I enjoyed every minute. Included was a swing section from Mr Barlow himself, and with his band behind him, he sang away Classic hits from both his solo years, and Take That's earlier fame and later releases. Middle aged woman were dreamily looking and reminiscing whilst he sang on. He oozed charm, his vocals were clear, cool and collective. His range was superb and right on pitch! With a vocal and performance like that he must have warmed up well!
The pop star, who is also head judge on The X Factor, will perform 16 dates across Britain and Ireland, running through until January.
He says: "I'm really excited about these dates. Playing live is my favourite thing and I haven't played a solo show for over a year now. Last year playing two London shows was brilliant, we all had such a good time, so I thought, right, let's get out and see the rest of the country!" www.u.tv
Barlow went solo after Take That split in 1996, and toured the UK in 1999. The band then reunited in 2005 and has enjoyed a string of hugely successful European treks.
